Artificial Intelligence (AI)

BIPOC Nonprofit Professionals
**For BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community members only** The intention of this online space is to hold space for community members of color who want to gather, connect, and engage without doing so alongside white colleagues. This racial affinity forum allows community members of color to center and prioritize their specific needs, voices, and experiences (both professional and personal) in an online setting, without introducing the potential of harm or trauma from well-intentioned white allies. Posts and comments are to be treated as private and confidential, and may not be replicated or shared outside of this group.
Cybersecurity
Cybersecurity impacts nearly every aspect of your nonprofit and is something that many organizations may not consider until they need to respond to an incident. Nonprofit staff, and those that work with them, across teams, departments, and mission areas are invited to use this group for discussion, sharing resources, and peer support. This online group does not provide crisis response support or legal advice.
Data
This group is for those interested in learning and sharing about all things data-related for nonprofits. The Nonprofits and Data group is for people using data to serve a mission, either directly or by improving nonprofits and the nonprofit sector. That includes everything from collecting data and managing databases to analytics, data visualization and data mining. Here are some examples of topics we discuss: using data to improve organizational effectiveness, measuring impact, using data for storytelling, tools for data management and analysis, figuring out the “right” data to collect, and learning skills to help us use data better.
Digital Communications
For those doing digital strategy work, including written or multimedia content for nonprofit websites, social media, and e-newsletters. This group is for those digital communications folks who create written or multimedia content for websites, social media, and e-newsletters for nonprofits. Members will discuss topics such as social media trends, digital analytics, developing content, storytelling, planning and resources, content strategy, and more.
Digital Inclusion
Help close the digital divide! Join us in supporting digital inclusion initiatives, sharing best practices, and showcasing digital inclusion programs. Digital Inclusion refers to the activities necessary to ensure that all individuals and communities, including the most disadvantaged, have access to and use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Members of this group will discuss topics related to digital inclusion including (but not limited to) digital literacy, internet access, technology for people with disabilities and older adults, and making technology more accessible.
Drupal
If you work in a nonprofit using Drupal, or you work with nonprofits using Drupal, this is the group for you! Stuck on something? Have a question? Drupal experts are on hand to answer questions! You don't need to be a member of NTEN to participate in the monthly calls — feel free to invite colleagues and spread the word.
Equity in Nonprofit Tech
Looking to further equity in your nonprofit or tech company? This is a group for those exploring the intersection of technology, equity, and the nonprofit sector. This group was first created after NTEN published the Equity Guide for Nonprofit Tech. Welcome to the LGBTQIA2S+ Community online group! This online group is for LGBTQIA2S+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Two Spirit, Plus all other identities) community members who want to gather, connect, and engage with other LGBTQIA2S+ identified folks. Open Source
Open source applications and tools for free public distribution help nonprofits become more effective and build their capacity to better inform and mobilize their constituents. Nonprofit staff, and those that work with them, across teams, departments, and mission areas, as well as public interest software developers, are invited to use this group for discussion, sharing resources, and peer support.
Sector Organizing
This is a collaboration space for sharing resources, calls to action, and organizing as a community in support of the nonprofit sector broadly and strategically.
Tech Decision Makers
A group for those in nonprofit IT decision-making roles to connect with peers and share best practices. This Technology Decision Makers group is for nonprofit IT or MIS Directors/Managers as well as CIOs and CTOs to connect with their peers and share best practices. Topics for discussion include, but are not limited to: hardware and software management, product reviews, emerging technology, best practices, collaborating effectively with other departments, and management conundrums. Membership is restricted to IT staff at nonprofit organizations.
Women in Nonprofit Tech
This is a private group (anyone can find the group but only members of the group can see discussions) for women, gender non-conforming, transgender women, nonbinary folks, and anyone who identifies as female in the nonprofit technology sector. If you identify with the description above and would like to join us, click "+ Join Group" to be added. This is a place to build community, ask questions, have discussions, share resources, and support each other in a safe space.

A place for nonprofit WordPress users, editors, developers, and administrators of all skill levels. This community is by WordPress users for WordPress users. Our goal: to support nonprofit organizations using (or interested in using) WordPress. This is a safe and friendly place for beginning WordPress users to ask questions and connect with like-minded people.
