Purpose&nbsp;



The Director of Information Technology oversees the Foundation’s computer and AV networks and equipment. The IT Director is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s managed service providers, and effectively and efficiently delivering all third-party and internally managed IT applications used to support enterprise-wide business processes and services, including technologies hosted on-premises or in the cloud.

Information Technology&nbsp;

<li>Be available to provide Level 1 or Tier 1 support to internal users in need of basic assistance with network access, business applications access, or computer or AV equipment.&nbsp;</li>



<li>Oversee the functionality, stability, and security of the Foundation’s network, equipment, and applications. &nbsp;</li>



<li>Implement the Foundation’s IT strategic plan, projects, and initiatives in coordination with the Foundation’s strategic priorities. &nbsp;</li>



<li>Oversee and periodically audit the user and access rights and permissions on designated systems and applications. &nbsp;</li>



<li>Ensure sound security protocols on the Foundation’s networks, equipment, and systems; oversee threat and vulnerability assessments against its systems.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>



<li>Evaluate and assess external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired organizational priorities and industry best practices. &nbsp;</li>



<li>Work with the Foundation’s finance team to develop annual operating and capital budgets and manage IT expenditures.  </li>

<li>Maintain a network of trusted advisors, consultants, and vendors to help assess the effectiveness of the Foundation’s IT service model and network, and who can provide advice on whether they are the most effective means to meet our changing business priorities. &nbsp;</li>



<li>Establish and oversee an in-person and virtual platform that provides timely and actionable responses to user requests for assistance with equipment or applications. &nbsp;</li>



<li>Maintain currency on new technologies and platforms — including artificial intelligence (AI) and edge computing — and provide direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated, and introduced at the Foundation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>



<li>Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation, and support of IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, equipment, and IT service support.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>



<li>Implement new technologies, techniques, and practices, such as Agile and service integration and management (SIAM), to ensure alignment with the organization’s change in priorities or strategies. &nbsp;</li>

Salesforce Administration

<li>Support end-users with ongoing business processes by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems with Salesforce configuration, workflows, processes, and/or integrations</li>



<li>Perform ongoing maintenance and configuration tasks in Salesforce, including coordinating and undertaking testing of regular system updates and vendor releases</li>



<li>Maintain usability of Inatai’s portal where grant-seekers and grantees interact with the foundation</li>



<li>Manage and troubleshoot bugs and system malfunctions reported by users, including submitting helpdesk tickets to Salesforce or other parties, and track items through to resolution</li>

<li>Implement and maintain Salesforce platform integrations, including Conga, DocuSign, and Sage Intacct</li>

Position Description



The primary function of this role is to serve as the organization&#8217;s Salesforce Administrator. This role is not expected to have technical expertise in Salesforce or Drupal but is expected to connect KM Partners to the resources and people who do and help translate this type of work to a more general audience.



This is a full-time, exempt position and is open to remote candidates.

With guidance from supervisor and a very collaborative Knowledge Services team:



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-external-engagement">External Engagement</h2>



<ul>
<li>Onboard new staff into the KM Collaborative community by sending welcome email series, providing orientation calls, and being responsive to all inquiries received</li>



<li>Maintain familiarity with all KM Partners, building trusted relationships to ensure the Knowledge Services team is meeting the needs of each organization</li>



<li>Organize and participate in Knowledge Services team’s recurring engagement check-ins&nbsp;</li>



<li>Strategically engage with all KM Partners daily and weekly on Slack Workspace</li>



<li>Support KM Mentorship program.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-external-communications">External Communications</h2>



<ul>
<li>Produce, monitor, and maintain an engaging and effective presence for the KM Collaborative on the Forum’s website</li>



<li>Assist with the development of the Knowledge Services communications plan and long-term strategy, including identification and tracking of key performance indicators</li>



<li>Write and send relevant mass emails using Pardot to keep various KM audiences informed and engaged to deepen our reputation and influence</li>



<li>Contribute to various routine Knowledge Services team reporting for the CEO, Board, committees, etc.</li>



<li>Produce and distribute the KM Collaborative’s Annual Evaluation and prepare summary of findings.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-program-support">Program Support</h2>



<ul>
<li>Provide vital program management support for the feature KM Collaborative programs:</li>



<li>KM Office Hours – bi-weekly calls featuring presentations and Open Floortime to provide support</li>



<li>KM Users Group – annual gathering to build community and learn together</li>



<li>Provide planning and logistical support for KM programming including Working Group meetings and occasional trainings</li>



<li>Manage the post-production/content management of recorded resources for all KM programs</li>



<li>Assist with scheduling and note-taking during programs, as needed.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-administration">Administration</h2>



<ul>
<li>Provide administrative support for contracting and evaluation aspects of KM Consulting Services</li>



<li>Support various Knowledge Services team special projects</li>



<li>Support all external surveying efforts and support team scheduling.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Proficiency* in the use of applications/platforms for: Word processing, Spreadsheet calculations, and Presentations (e.g., Google Suite and Office 365), Project Management (e.g., Asana), Surveys and Evaluations (e.g., Alchemer), Videoconferencing and Messaging (e.g., Zoom, Slack), and Document management (e.g., Box) *Experience using similar tools with commitment to further develop skills is suitable replacement for proficiency</li>

The Forum offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, including 100% employer paid health coverage; employer contributions to a retirement plan; dental and vision coverage; short- and long-term disability insurance; and generous vacation, holiday, and sick and medical leave. The salary range for this position is $61,000-73,000, commensurate with experience.

The Forum is headquartered in Washington, D.C. Although we continue to maintain a physical office, the Forum currently operates as a virtual office. Staff located in the greater D.C. area have the option to work from home or in the office, or some combination, based on employee preference. Staff located outside of the greater D.C. area will be expected to visit our D.C. office a few times a year. Employees receive financial stipends and other necessary supports to cover the expenses of working remotely.
