As a leader in the nonprofit fundraising space, we are growing and are looking for a Senior Analyst to join us.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Analytics Director and collaborating closely with other members of the Analytics Department and Account staff, the Senior Analyst will be instrumental in generating comprehensive reports and analyses for integrated direct-response fundraising campaigns. This includes conducting long-term value and retention, segmentation analysis, and the development & enhancement of tailored reports. The Senior Analyst will contribute to the overall objective of the department by providing support with importing and validating data.
About Your Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Analytics Director, perform long term or large-scale analysis of client programs – including reporting on donor behavior reflected by lifetime value, donor lifecycles, and retention.
- Work with the Analytics Director and Account teams to understand reporting requirements to design, build, and maintain complex and interactive dashboards & data integrations using skills in SQL and Power BI.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis using analytics tools such as SQL and Python/R or other statistical programming language.
- Create customized fiscal year summaries with varying degrees of complexity. Update and verify summaries after each gift file import
- Provide backup support to other members of the Analytics Department as needed.
About Your Skills:
To succeed in this position, you should have at least four to seven years’ experience in analytics, preferably in the fundraising, digital/direct marketing industry; three to five years’ experience in Power BI development and implementation; advanced SQL skills; experience with SSRS; experience and/or willingness to learn Python/R; attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at different stages; and the ability to communicate effectively.
About Our Location:
We are located south of Dupont Circle in Washington, DC. The position is offered in either a Hybrid, On-site, or *remote capacity.
*This position will be available remotely for candidates who will be in a work location in which Lautman Maska Neill & Company has an established business entity. We currently operate in Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and Washington DC.
