About the Job:
As part of the HR & Operations team, the IT Operations Manager works to provide agency-wide support across three locations: the Transformation Center in the Austin community, Bright Endeavors in West Garfield Park, and in our Oak Park location. This position has two primary responsibilities: (1) collaboration with external contractors and staff to manage our IT and telecom systems, and (2) implementing a systems approach to upgrade and manage operations, increasing safety and efficiency. The IT Operations Manager will represent company values in all communications and interactions, including our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position works primarily out of our Austin location, and spends time at our Oak Park and E Garfield Park locations. Starting Salary: $55,000

Key Job Responsibilities:
Technology Systems (65%)
- Provide in-house general tech support for staff and program participants by troubleshooting Level 1 IT issues, referring more complex issues to IT vendor, and monitoring progress through conclusion. This position will oversee tech vendor contracts and work completion
- Purchase, set up, and maintain staff computer/phone systems and service, ensuring the smooth integration of these technologies
- Initiate new ideas for systems that could increase efficiencies and enhance the use of technology for the staff
- Support on-going technology training and development of staff and Job Training participants, including innovative curriculum for diverse learners
- Provide project management and change management support for agency-wide systems
Facility Systems (30%)
- In collaboration with the COO, provide facility/vehicle oversight including maintenance and safety planning
- Coordinate facility maintenance requests via Slack, ensuring timely responses
- Collaborate with property management at all three sites to support IT and facility systems
- Work continuously to identify a diverse pool of vendors for the agency; acts as a relationship manager for a portfolio of New Moms vendors
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Other (5%)
- Regularly participates in agency and program staff meetings, as well as professional group seminars or conferences to enhance professional knowledge and job skills
- Learn and uphold the New Moms’ Executive Skills Coaching approach, grounded in racial equity
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- More than three (3) years of experience, IT or Project Management preferred
- Proficient use of Gmail, Google Drive, Slack (or comparable messaging program), and Microsoft Office programs required
- Knowledge of other cloud-based software (such as NetSuite and/or Salesforce) a plus
- Aptitude for learning new technology platforms to effectively manage related projects
- Demonstrates comfort in communicating with stakeholders, both verbal and written, including in following up on agreed action items
- Project Management certification is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, projects, and deadlines concurrently
- Ability to work across teams, taking individual responsibility and autonomy while also working well in roles leading and serving as part of a diverse team
- Valid driver’s license, with safe driving record and valid insurance, required
- Access to a reliable car required
