Meet the staff

My digital inclusion journey began in 2021 as a Digital Navigator. Since then, I've had the incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on various communities. Through securing funding and creating paths of opportunity, I've worked towards bridging the digital divide and ensuring equal access to technology and digital resources.

Originally from Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, I embarked on a new chapter in 2019 when I decided to make Portland, Oregon, my home. Like many others, I sought a better life and an environment to thrive. Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege of founding several businesses like Panal 3D that focused on empowering low-income children in my hometown by teaching them how to design and print 3D projects. We aimed to help these children stand out as students while also developing their creative and technical skills, ensuring they were equipped to serve their communities in the future. However, we could not meet the overwhelming demand for our services due to limited funds.

Nevertheless, this project ignited my profound passion to continue teaching tech skills to kids and seniors. It led me to embrace the role of Digital Equity Manager, where I can now leverage my knowledge and experience to impact a broader scale significantly. In addition to my professional journey, I hold a degree in Communication Sciences from Universidad de LaSalle Bajio. You can find me indulging in my hobbies when I'm not working. I love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and immersing myself in different cultures through travel. As a nature enthusiast, I also enjoy tending to my plants, nurturing them as they grow and thrive. I'm incredibly excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in my role as the Digital Equity Manager. By working together and championing digital inclusion, I believe we can create a more equitable and empowered society for all.
