This course equips grants management professionals with a practical, ethical, and values-aligned approach to using artificial intelligence in their day-to-day work. Through clear explanations, real-world examples, and guided reflection, learners will understand what AI can and cannot do, and how to remain firmly in the driver’s seat as this technology evolves.
Participants will explore the entire grant lifecycle through the lens of AI-enabled workflows, examining where language models can support strategy, design, due diligence, evaluation, and compliance. The course emphasizes responsible adoption, risk awareness, and equity-centered practices, ensuring learners can experiment with confidence while protecting stakeholders and sensitive data.
Using four detailed case examples, participants will learn how to build strong prompts, evaluate outputs, surface insights, and apply AI in ways that enhance human judgment, relationships, and mission-driven decision making.
