About Canopy
Canopy is an urban and community forestry nonprofit committed to enhancing neighborhoods across the Midpeninsula by bringing nature and education into urban spaces. Our mission is to collaborate with communities to grow and sustain equitable urban forests for all. We believe that access to trees and their benefits is essential for thriving communities. More than that, we believe that every planting event, tree care workshop, classroom lesson, and community gathering creates opportunities for connection, belonging, and collective action. Together we’re working towards connected communities thriving within a vibrant urban forest.
Position Summary
Canopy is seeking a Salesforce and Systems Administrator to help our growing nonprofit team maintain and optimize our Salesforce database and adjacent systems.
Under the guidance of the Director of Impact, this newly created position will serve as a central internal resource for Salesforce, supporting staff with reliable tools, accurate data, and the training needed to use the system effectively. In addition to day-to-day Salesforce administration and maintenance, this position supports related data platforms and system integrations, develops documentation and training materials, and contributes to longer-term technology planning and implementation.
This is envisioned as a role for someone early in their Salesforce Administrator journey who is eager to gain hands-on experience with foundational tools and platforms in an environment with ample opportunities for support, mentorship, and professional growth. While this is designed as an entry-level growth role, we welcome applications from more experienced administrators and are open to adjusting the compensation and scope for an experienced professional ready to champion our mission.
