IN DC-Reflecting Back on 2026: Nonprofit Tech Success Stories & Lessons Learned

Join Roshani Kothari, Digital Strategist & NTEN DC Metro Area Organizer and Genie Gratto, CEO & Founder of GWRITES, for a hybrid event where we look back at what worked and didn't work in nonprofit tech so we can enter 2027 ready to iterate on what we learned this year. 

SPEAKERS
  • Laura Patch, Senior Project Manager, Data & Internal Systems at Sierra Club, will discuss nonprofit tech wins and challenges from 2026.
  • Vega Bharadwaj, Deputy Director of Business Intelligence at World Food Program USA, will share success stories and lessons learned from a technological transformation that involved creating a unified data warehouse and upgrading their CRM platform, laying the foundation for more advanced predictive analytics and AI insights.

**Note: We will have in-person networking in-person from 12-12:30 pm, and following the event from 2:30-3:30 pm at Le Pain Quotidien, located at 975 F St. NW.

We invite you to record a quick video (5 minutes or less, shorter the better) reflecting back on 2026, and sharing your top nonprofit tech tips before this event on Oct. 29.

2. Share your nonprofit tech tips. "Looking back at 2026, my top nonprofit tech tip(s) is or are...
3. Add what you like to do outside work. "When I am not working, I like to ..." (OPTIONAL)
4. Upload the video to a LinkedIn post with the hashtag #NPTECHTIPS and in the comment tag Roshani Kothari and Genie Gratto.

HOW TO GET TO THE MLK LIBRARY CONFERENCE ROOM
1. Arriving to the MLK Library - Directions
2. After arriving to the library, go through the front doors and at the security desk, turn right to take the elevators to the 4th floor.
3. After arriving to the 4th floor, go through the 4th floor doors and turn right towards the conference rooms area. 
4. Enter the conference rooms area, and go towards the left to Conference Room 401-A.
*Note: Once you enter the library, go directly to the 4th floor. The security guard can direct you to the elevators. The front desk person may or may not know about our specific event. If you cannot find the conference room after arriving to the 4th floor, please call or text 202-384-6852.
