RFP submission priority deadline: 9/12/2025

CED envisions that our staff & collaborators will be supported in their work by a well-organized information architecture, in which our operational procedures, policies, structure, and workflows are clear and accessible. We seek a consultant who brings conceptual alignment, as well as technical expertise in building knowledge bases, internal wikis, or intranets for organizations of our size and nature, to develop a CED internal website on the Google Sites platform (based on a template and sitemap we will provide), which:

  • Serves as a knowledge base that houses and maps how to find information, links to where resources and guidance are located, and provides who to connect to for further support in a given area
  • It is user-friendly and accessible to people with different learning styles and across job functions
  • Lends itself well to being indexed and to support FAQ-style interaction as a primary function
  • Interfaces with the other platforms CED uses to carry out our work (Google Drive, Asana, Slack)
  • Can develop over time to meet the needs of other collaborators (through additional sections/content curated for board, volunteers, contractors, etc.)
  • Can incorporate some wiki-like functionality if the general staff desires to engage as contributors

CED is a US social movement building organization, growing capacity in our communities to transition capitalism into a just, sustainable, and democratic economy. Based in Boston, MA, CED has deep partnerships with local grassroots organizations led by and accountable to working-class BIPOC and immigrants; and also collaborates with a range of communities and stakeholders in our region and across the US, including worker cooperatives, unions, asset holders, and elected officials. Our interventions are targeted at the municipal, state (MA), regional (Northeast and DMV), and federal levels. To learn more about our work and program areas, visit: https://economicdemocracy.us
