Digital Equity Professional Certificate

Designed by digital inclusion experts, this certificate helps you bridge digital divides and build more equitable communities.

Digital inclusion is more than access — it’s about ensuring that everyone has the tools, skills, and support they need to fully participate in society. The Digital Equity Professional Certificate helps nonprofit staff understand the systems that create digital divides and the strategies to bridge them.

Created with guidance from digital inclusion leaders, the Digital Equity Professional Certificate helps nonprofit professionals understand the systemic barriers to digital access and how to address them through thoughtful, community-centered strategies.

Participants explore courses on digital literacy, redlining, trauma-informed training, fair chance hiring, and accessible program design. Leadership-focused courses add strategic tools for guiding internal and external equity efforts.

This certificate is ideal for program designers, community outreach staff, and organizational leaders committed to building inclusive digital ecosystems and embedding equity into every level of service delivery.

An NTEN certificate is more than a professional credential, it's a valuable learning opportunity that you'll actually use. The electives let me dig deeply into a subject that interests me and I was able to use that knowledge for my final project, which is now a guiding document for our organization's accessibility work.
