Senior Technology Coordinator

The Senior Technology Coordinator will support core platforms, manage technical contractors, and lead Salesforce management to utilize a high-impact tech reach and support the greater mission of healthy school food.


Job Description


As a small nonprofit, the Chef Ann Foundation is very focused on utilizing technology for a high impact and constantly improving tech usage and adaptation. The Senior Technology Coordinator will support core platforms, manage technical contractors, and lead Salesforce management to utilize a high-impact tech reach. Our tech ecosystem relies on strong working relationships with multiple contractor teams to support a variety of platforms and applications, including Salesforce, Craft CMS, Django, and Google Cloud Platform.

The Senior Engagement Marketing Coordinator will be part of a 3+ person tech team. This position reports to the Senior Director of Technology. and will play a crucial part of a cross-functional department.

Founded in 2009, the Chef Ann Foundation (CAF) believes that all children should have equal access to fresh, healthy, delicious food providing them the foundation to thrive and meet their true potential. We ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide cook-from-scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet. To date, we’ve reached over 13,000 schools and over 3.3 million children in all 50 states.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support Director of Technology with technology projects, such as new software installation, security overviews and cross-platform integrations

  • Manage and coordinate technical contractors, including cybersecurity consultants, web developers, and software development teams. (Note: no formal coding or development experience needed)

  • Lead management of Salesforce database, including data architecture and hygiene, best practices, and new developments or software connections

  • Coordinate closely with Salesforce admin agency, including project management and ticket prioritization

  • Coordinate closely with web development agency to lead the SCALE platform

  • Manage website maintenance and optimization across CAF’s websites, in coordination with website development agency

  • Work with the Programs team on needed technical integrations or platforms



Position Qualifications & Requirements



  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in supporting technology for an organization, preferably nonprofit

  • Please note: you do not need any formal coding or software development knowledge. This role is very open to non-traditional experience and on-the-ground learning.

  • Experience preferred in: Salesforce, Craft, Wordpress, Classy, Moodle, Adobe, Zapier

  • Salesforce admin experience is highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and GSuite platforms

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues

  • Ability to work virtually

Compensation


Compensation ranges between $52,000 - $66,000 per year and will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous experience and credentials. The Chef Ann Foundation is a great place to work and provides its staff with a competitive benefits package, including:

We are a fully-remote organization whose headquarters are located in Boulder, CO, with team members spread across the US. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
