Summary
A member of the Data Management team in the Information Technology Department that implements efforts to support organizational priorities and activities within the department. Supports unit efforts with a focus on departmental contributions to enterprise strategy for Association. Participates and supports efforts for appointed and member volunteer groups and APTA leadership. Supports preparation of compliance requirements and documents and seeks out opportunities for continuous quality improvement in department activities. Effective champion of the Association’s vision, mission and brand.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for reporting, integration and analysis for database systems; maintaining current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practices; assists, identifies and resolves issues related to the use of the database management system software, integrations, and utilities; provides support of and designs workflow solutions related to Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Association Management System and related databases;
- Implements work plans related to respective activities of the Information Technology department which aligns with organizational priorities, the Association's operations strategy and data systems;
- Prepares and completes required departmental compliance forms including ensuring required information is accurate for timely submission of all required forms as well as developing and maintaining documentation and standards;
- Contributes to and implements recommendations on advancing operations within the department to gain efficiencies, and grow revenue, if applicable;
- Contributes to quality assurance and continuous quality/performance improvement in department activities, including supporting department director, and unit leader in annual assessments of respective budget activities all while ensuring databases are designed to meet specifications and requirements at the lowest possible costs;
- Supports the Technology and Organizational Performance unit in the implementation of the Association’s programs, priorities, and projects in partnership with supervisor and staff colleagues

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Information Systems, or 5+ years related experience
- Proficient in writing SQL queries, stored procedures and views
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Association Management System reporting, configuration, and support; Experience with Protech platform is a plus.
- Proficient with Sql Server Reporting Services or similar reporting tools
- Experience using analytics tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of database design and construction.
- Experience in interviewing business users, collecting, and interpreting requirements, and explaining the solution details to business audiences
