Scope:
Mozilla is looking for a specialist in partnership outreach with sales and partnerships experience to focus on non-profit organizations (NFPs) for a 3-month contract.
Key objective:
Test B2B2C partnerships as a growth lever for Mozilla’s data privacy SaaS product and shape our B2B2C distribution strategy for the coming year.
Responsibilities:
Engage with various NFP organization types to explore the potential fit of Mozilla's data privacy SaaS offering for their employees
Update and refine talk tracks
Discover the unique needs of each NFP and use this discovery to develop comprehensive partnership proposals
Deliverables:
Conduct outreach to multiple NFP organizations to introduce our data privacy and removal solution.
Develop, update, and refine talk tracks for each NFP organization type based on feedback and learnings.
Assess the needs of the NFP employees and determine the suitability of our offering for these organizations.
Gather and analyze feedback to understand what is required for NFPs to consider offering our product to their employees
Create detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) based on insights and feedback
Collaborate with the PMM team to inform and refine the B2B2C distribution strategy.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the organizations.
Provide regular updates and reports on outreach progress and partnership development.
Skills:
Strong understanding of non-profit organizations and their operational dynamics
Understanding & empathy for the unique perspectives and situations of some of the sensitive NFP’s you’ll be working with, including reproductive healthcare, journalism, and civil rights organizations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptive, quick learner, self-motivated
Independent worker who can execute without much direction
Expert at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
The ideal candidate will have:
6+ years of professional experience in partnership outreach, sales, or a related role, preferably with NFPs or small organizations ~10-50 people
Experience marketing B2C or B2B software products and working closely with PMM and product teams
Strong project management experience
Problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams
Demonstrated success in conducting partnership calls, both inbound and outbound, to engage potential partners
Experience in executing cold outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social media to generate new partnership opportunities, including adding to our preliminary outreach list
Experience in producing regular status reports for PMM and Product
Experience pivoting regularly to explore new opportunities, including making strategic suggestions that are different than the initial approach
Nice to have: experience with Data Privacy and removal software
