We are Hiring. We are seeking a full-time Nonprofit CRM Specialist that specializes in CRM platforms and will be responsible for being the subject matter expert on implementations and integrations. We need someone who is software savvy. We are looking for someone who has great customer-facing experience but has also worked with software implementation; not just the training of employees, but a little deeper knowledge of the software side. **Candidates with EveryAction (Donor Management Software) experience and a non-profit background will be highly considered.**

The salary range for this position starts at $65,000/year and goes up to $80,000/year based on how well you match all of the criteria. Plus benefits!

A day in the life. As Nonprofit CRM Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting clients during the pre-sales, implementation, and support phases of the relationship. A typical day would include a combination of onboarding consulting calls with new clients, walking clients through a migration process, following up via email and project management tools, keeping up to date with new industry trends and software features, and most importantly sharing knowledge and new knowledge with the Platform Tech team. Our CRM Specialist must also be aware of other prominent technologies that are used in the non-profit sector and have a general understanding of their capabilities. In this role, you can expect to work independently and with a larger team, put your analytical and creative thinking to find innovative solutions to complex customer problems, and use best practices to optimize and improve existing solutions utilized on a small, non-profit up through mid-level scale. In most cases, your responsibilities will include working with multiple teams, clients, analysts, and subject matter experts. You’ll design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions and communicate your progress to stakeholders and/or project managers. Functional skills include cross-platform knowledge, documentation, stakeholder analysis, requirements gathering, effective communication among different teams, and a willingness to continuously learn new platforms and their capabilities.

  • Lead pre-sales efforts to recommend the right implementation approach and develop a plan to lead the customer to long-term success with CRMs.
  • Provide advice and recommendations for marketing and sales best practices, business process, deployment planning, and change management.
  • Lead implementation projects for clients. Responsibilities include strategic consulting, product best practices, technical strategy, and project management.
  • Contribute to the growth of the enterprise practice by enhancing alignment between Sales and Services teams, defining implementation solutions, and creating pre-sales collateral.
  • Gather business process information and requirements, and assist in performing analysis, solution development, and risk assessments for Generate Impact clients.
  • Function as an integral part of the Development and Platform Tech team, actively contributing towards the development of our and our clients’ tools, services, and platforms.
  • Understand project and development plans and clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines.
  • Provide support as a technical resource in a project when needed.
  • Present new technologies to other team members.
  • Client analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Work with business sponsors to understand and gather reporting requirements carrying these requirements end-to-end to quality, fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Challenge current state and influence strategic change.

What we are looking for:

  • Have significant experience in implementing CRM software for mid-size or larger, complex customers.
  • Preference will be given with candidates that have EveryAction experience.
  • Have a customer first mindset and a consultative approach to problem solving.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Are passionate & interested in supporting pre-sales activities and providing a level of certainty to the customer to assure they are making the right decision.
  • Have a strategic mindset and can help customers with their long-term planning.
  • Are very detailed oriented and have strong project management skills.
  • Have a strong technical aptitude, with a deep understanding of integrations, APIs, and technical strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • World-class customer service skills and the ability to speak to a variety of clients at all levels.
  • Ability to follow a well-defined project process.
  • Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and learn quickly and independently.
  • Good communication skills are essential; need to be able to work in a cross-disciplinary, distributed team.
  • Experience in assessing and migrating business processes.

The final, and very important, details. This position is classified as exempt according to the Fair Labor Standards Act. This Position is open to candidates that are authorized to work in the US and not requiring H-1B or other visa, and are willing to work some EST time zone hours. Candidates in California, New York, Washington, New Jersey are not eligible at this time.
