Digital Account Director (Digital Advertising, Email Marketing, Nonprofit, Fundraising, Advocacy)

Avalon is a full-service direct response fundraising consulting agency, and we are looking for a skilled Digital Account Director to create and implement digital advertising campaigns that drive engagement and bring in revenue for our progressive nonprofit clients. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and with experience leading digital advertising campaigns in the social good space. In addition, experience with email marketing, social media, project management, and digital fundraising platforms is preferred.

What You'll Do with Us:

  • Lead a digital team in the development and execution of all matters related to effective digital fundraising and membership campaigns that drive engagement and revenue, with a particular focus on digital advertising campaigns.
  • Provide creative direction on client accounts, collaborate with writers and designers, and implement effective digital advertising strategies for brand awareness, lead generation, and direct conversion.
  • Develop media plans, creative briefs, campaign reports, and campaign budgets for clients' digital campaigns.
  • Recommend and test audience segmentation strategies for digital advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with media buying partners to implement and manage digital advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with digital team colleagues on engagement and fundraising email marketing campaigns, as needed.
  • Manage client budgets and recommend strategy changes or special client communications, as needed.
  • Manage other client communications including annual and mid-year reports, program audits, integrated channel analysis, and presentation of Avalon Analytics services.
  • Support client cultivation and business development efforts.
  • Serve as an in-house authority on digital advertising best practices and opportunities, including supervising and mentoring assigned digital program staff.
