THE POSITION

From determining philanthropic potential and identifying the prospects who will help realize it – to providing the tools needed to manage relationships and effectively leverage the power of our clients’ resources – the Strategic Information Services (SIS) Division of Campbell & Company puts data to work. As the division expands and increasingly becomes an integral part of each client engagement, we are looking to grow our team by adding two new positions to our team of six professionals.

This individual will report to the Senior Consultant, SIS, and work with others across the firm and the practice as part of integrated project teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Lead projects and produce reports to evaluate clients’ use of their database, especially focused on relationship management (moves management) functionality, gift coding, and reporting

·      Counsel clients to make changes to their database based on the above analysis, including leading training sessions on updated functionality

·      Provide counsel on all manner of database questions, including but not limited to data integrity, imports, gift processing and acknowledgment, metrics, standard reports, and custom reports.

·      Build standard and custom reports to support client goals using native or business intelligence tools.

·      Keep current on advances in database management software, sharing knowledge with other members of the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

The most important skills and abilities for this role are:

·      Three to five years of database experience (e.g., Tessitura, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, etc.) in a non-profit organization.

·      Strong understanding of nonprofit tech and data needs; experience with integration tools (e.g., events, email) would be an advantage.

·      Experience training staff in database processes and procedures would be an advantage.

·      Strong understanding of prospect management (or moves management) processes.

·      Experience with report development within a nonprofit database system; expertise with business intelligence applications such as Power BI would be an advantage.

·      Comfort in a fast-paced environment that requires high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.

·      High personal and professional integrity that inspires confidence and trust.

·      Commitment to delivering high quality services to colleagues and to clients.

·      High initiative, energy and ability to be effective independently and as part of a team

·      Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

·      A bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent work experience is required; an advanced degree would be an advantage. 

We are currently maintaining a hybrid work environment, with flexibility to work remotely or make use of one of our physical office locations in Chicago, IL and Seattle, WA. We are open to considering candidates based in any location in the US but will give preference to candidates based in Greater Chicago. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 and is bonus eligible. Campbell & Company also offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
