Meet the fellows

I am an experienced educator with over 20 years of dedication to the field, holding a Master's in Education and working in getting my diploma in Nonprofit Organization Management. My work has focused on supporting low-income families, with a deep passion for promoting equity literacy and creating equal opportunities. For the past four years, I’ve been a Program Manager at Avance Austin, where I empower families and individuals to reach their potential through educational programs. Originally from Venezuela, I’ve embraced Austin as my home for the last six years. I’m committed to designing impactful educational projects and fostering inclusive environments that help all learners thrive. Outside of work, my family and a grumpy four-legged friend bring joy to my life, and I remain dedicated to building a better future for under-resourced communities.
