Meet the fellows

James Blaker studied Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He grew up in California and found his passion for technology early in his life. After getting his bachelor's degree he started service with AmeriCorps VISTA as a Digital Equity Resource Development Specialist with the Community Action Partnership of Utah (CAP Utah). CAP Utah is a state association located in Ogden, Utah. CAP Utah and its coalition of Nine Community Action Agencies work nonstop to fight poverty throughout the state every day! CAP Utah's role is to provide training and technical assistance to the agencies as well as apply for grants to support the coalition's mission.
