Make professional development work for your team

Many organizations invest in professional development and mentoring to support their teams—but it can be challenging to get staff to actually use those resources. When learning opportunities go unused, it may signal to leadership that these investments aren’t worth the cost. So how do you encourage your team to take full advantage of what’s available?

In this course, we’ll explore why professional development resources are sometimes underutilized and how to reframe learning through the lenses of popular education and trauma-informed care. You'll hear real-life examples of successful, supportive programs and leave with actionable strategies to build a culture of learning within your team. With greater buy-in, you’ll foster deeper professional (and personal) growth across your organization.
