Do you have lots of changes involving technology in the next year? A roadmap can be a fantastic communication tool to generate clarity and buy-in. And the great thing about roadmaps is that anyone in any technology-related function can use them. For example, you can use a roadmap to diagram changes to a nonprofit’s IT infrastructure and show planned improvements to how your program department uses technology, and lots more.
In this course, we’ll review human-centered and inclusive approaches for making your vision of the future leap off the page and into the hearts and minds of your teammates. You’ll learn about different methods you can use to tie those plans for the future to your organization’s overall mission. We also talk about how we can still develop compelling technology roadmaps under adverse circumstances in which the future seems highly uncertain.
This course is for anyone who plans for and around technology. It’s designed to be equally applicable to team leaders and rockstar departments of one.
