Build an agile product team

Nonprofit technology teams face constant pressure to deliver effective products and tools—quickly, collaboratively, and within real-world constraints. Agile methodologies offer a practical way to manage complex projects while staying grounded in values like transparency, shared decision-making, and continuous improvement.

In this course, you'll learn the core principles of agile and how they support better teamwork and more reliable delivery. We’ll explore foundational concepts, team roles, sprint cycles, and ceremonies, while grounding everything in real-world examples you can adapt to your organization. By the end, you'll have a working understanding of how agile supports incremental progress and helps teams build and refine tools that better serve your communities.

Participants will walk away with an introduction to agile methods, clarity on team roles and workflows, and practical approaches for applying agile practices in nonprofit settings.
