NTEN Research Committee: Want to join?

Are you a lover of data and research? Someone interested in the latest trends? Maybe you love case studies and sharing successful practices? We’re looking for individuals interested in serving in a volunteer position with NTEN on the Research Committee.

At NTEN, it is incredibly important to us that the community we serve is an active part of our work. That means we want to ensure that community members have opportunities to provide feedback, suggestions, and advice in planning, execution, and evaluation of our programs and services.

NTEN has an active Membership Committee, serving to provide insight and direction on the role of membership, the benefits and value of membership, and opportunities for engaging new and current members. We also have an active Editorial Committee directly focused on the content and success of the quarterly NTEN: Change journal. Each year’s conference is also supported by an NTC Steering Committee, suggesting important topics to address, and serving to select sessions.

Research, reports, and case studies play a key role in meeting our mission: Resources like these enable us to document and share emerging trends, new data, successful real world examples, and establish benchmarks for evaluation. We have often engaged community members after research or investigation happens; and we want to move your involvement in this critical piece of our work to the start of the process!

The Research Committee will meet quarterly by phone and engage directly in review of all NTEN research projects.

If you’re interested in joining the Research Committee, leave a comment here or email me directly!
