Many organizations complete a Tech Accelerate assessment and discover there are flagged issues that can be addressed immediately. Whether writing a privacy policy or planning staff training, there are actionable steps you can take today.
A particularly crucial area of need for many nonprofits is security. This is where we know a data policy, staff training on identifying phishing attempts, or a new password manager tool can make a big difference in the organization. So we are happy to offer $500 microgrants to nonprofits ready to take action to improve their security.
The $500 microgrant can be either a cash award or four hours of free advice from an expert practitioner to talk with you about your assessment. Together you can plan how and where to improve your organization’s security or review and create policies for your organization.

Eligibility
To apply for a microgrant, your organization must:
- Be based in the United States.
- Be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with an EIN or fiscal sponsor.
- Have a completed Tech Accelerate report dated September 1, 2022, or after.
- Have security-related topics from the report that you plan to address with the support.
