This position is based at our Seattle, WA headquarters and required to be in person regularly. Remote work is not an option for this position.

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst leads the evaluation and implementation of complex technical solutions based on the business needs. This position works on all aspects of the solution lifecycle with an emphasis on planning, business analysis, requirements, design, implementation, and testing. 

This position provides advice and consultation to business owners and team members for new and existing business solutions requiring business analysis or database support.

Essential Responsibilities:

·       Planning and Analysis: Provides senior-level business analysis to the department, teams, and customers regarding business solutions including business needs, requirements, options, risks, and limitations. Develops and documents business processes and requirements including logical data models and process maps and technical documentation on business applications. Performs security assessment and risk analysis for new and existing IT services. Provides consultation to, and partners with, stakeholders, sponsors, IT, and management for new and existing solutions.  50%

·       Service Ownership: Performs Service Owner duties including handling escalation requests, creating and maintaining procedure and training documentation, and periodic reviews of services to address problems and opportunities for improvement. Responsible for recommendations to management on the future evolution/roadmap of assigned services. 20%

·       Project Management: Creates project plans. Accountable for scope, deliverables, and milestones. Manages project risk associated with team and vendor deliverables and milestones. Establishes timelines, and effective progress measures that include vendor and staff workload and productivity. Communicates status, risk and mitigation strategies, and manages project approval gates. 15%

·       Leadership: Provides mentoring, training, and support to Casey staff and TS coworkers on business applications  10%

·       Supportive Teamwork: Performs other duties as assigned 5%

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4 years experience in business/systems analysis roles. Proficient at understanding business needs and translating them into requirements. Facilitating decision-making about how technology should be configured/used to meet objectives. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated technical skills in the majority of the following: system design/analysis, project management, process analysis/optimization, implementation, integration, support, documentation, and reporting. Additional requirements include strong logic and process mapping skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to write and speak clearly on technical subjects to a variety of audiences in the organization (including technical and non-technical) are essential.
  • Demonstrated solid leadership and collaboration skills and the ability to partner with, and coach other professionals in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to contribute to continuous quality improvement by identifying and recommending improvements to the services and support provided by the individual, team, and department.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift and reach for light objects; close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, text, and figures; the ability to type utilizing a computer keyboard; ability to travel to outside locations; and the ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time as a primary job function.

Casey Family Programs requires a COVID-19 vaccination for in-person work. Therefore, all employees will be required to present proof of vaccination status unless they qualify for a medical or religious exemption.

This position is based at our Seattle, WA office. The hiring salary range for this role is $95,000 to $112,000 annually.

Casey Family Programs offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, 10 paid holidays per year, and each employee receives one personal holiday to use each calendar year. Employees who meet certain tenure qualifiers are eligible for up to eight weeks of parental leave for the birth or placement of a child for adoption or foster care. After the completion of 10 years of continuous, full-time regular employment, employees in good standing are permitted a three-month sabbatical with pay.
