Status: Part-Time Contractor Status
Location: Remote
Compensation: $100/hr
Hours: 5-15 hours per week, not to exceed 70 hours total
Duration: May 11 - June 30th, with the possibility for extension
Deadline: May 3st, 2026 (or until filled)
National Network of Abortion Funds (NNAF) creates and maintains a variety of tools that help funds and clinics coordinate and pay for abortion care and practical support. NNAF seeks an Airtable consultant who can help add features to an Airtable-based tool for secure collaboration that is currently in beta testing mode with plans to launch this summer. There is the potential to renew this contract for ongoing maintenance work. This contractor position will be reporting to a Technical Manager and part of a four person team. We intend to begin this contract in May 2026 and complete this phase of building and launching the tool by July 1, 2026. Further contract extension will be considered based on budget and contractor’s interest and availability.

This tool is being housed at NNAF, but designed and built by abortion fund technologists. The ideal consultant has a background in abortion funds, clinics, practical support, or related infrastructure for direct service.

Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in Airtable
- Experience with integration middleware tools like Zapier or Workato preferred
- Comfort with community-designed tech + designing for accessibility
- Independent worker with clear communication skills and flexibility to adapt to a changing project timeline
Approach:
- You want to build tools that fit users’ process rather than fitting process to the tool
- You have experience working with people of all technological backgrounds and experiences, and can convey complex concepts clearly
- You are committed to abortion access and full reproductive health care for all
