Sarah Boison is the Director of Digital Communications at The Climate Reality Project. Sarah previously served as the Digital Director for Communities In Schools, where she oversaw a major website redesign project, the launch of their What We Are Made Of AR app, and various digital projects supporting over 120 affiliates and 1.6 million students. Sarah has over a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector and has worked at other organizations such as Independent Sector, Points of Light, and America's Promise Alliance. Sarah also managed other digital projects such as day-of social media for the Women's March in 2017, social media for the United State of Women summit in 2018, online engagement for Justice Roundtable's Vote for Justice event, and Eighteenx18's We Vote Next Summit. In her free time, Sarah supports local campaigns in Washington, DC, serving as a digital strategist for DC Councilmember Robert White in 2014 and 2016, and a digital strategist for DC State Board of Education Ward 7 member Eboni-Rose Thompson in 2020. She also teaches digital courses for NTEN, an organization that helps nonprofits fulfill their missions through the skillful and racially equitable use of technology. Sarah is a graduate of American University and Georgetown University, and she lives in Bowie, Maryland with her family.
