Salim Sawaya



At Esri, we believe that location and GIS technology can help our customers and partners to make a difference in the world. Having worked at Esri for the past 15 years, Mr. Salim Sawaya is the Manager of Esri’s Nonprofit & Global Organizations (NGO) team based in Washington, DC. Esri’s NGO team leads Esri’s work and partnerships with UN agencies and other International Organizations, Nonprofits and Foundations, and US Foreign Assistance agencies working in the fields of sustainable development, humanitarian assistance, and conservation. He has 18 years of experience working in the fields of ICT and GIS in positions focused on requirements analysis, solution design, implementation planning, application development, customer support, project management, business development and marketing. He holds a MS in Geographic and Cartographic Sciences from George Mason University, 2008, and a BA in Economics from Bucknell University, 2000.
