Whole WhaleMeredith is fascinated by human behavior, particularly how digital “body language” can inform marketing strategies for social good. Certified in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Pardot by Salesforce, she is a classic philomath and is always seeking new and engaging ways to communicate with people online.
Email, with its return on investment of +122%, is currently Meredith’s favorite way to increase the impact of Whole Whale’s nonprofit and for-benefit clients. She has built and executed email marketing campaigns for the Kaiser Family Foundation, Charitybuzz, PJ Library, Lung Cancer Foundation of America, and more, managing the messaging for over 300,000 constituents. Along with client services, Meredith manages Whole Whale’s in-house email marketing, and has more than doubled the Whole Whale subscriber list through an integrated lead acquisition strategy (and plenty of A/B testing).
While Meredith loves learning, she loves to build expertise within social impact organizations even more. She has trained nonprofit professionals in content marketing, SEO, email marketing, social media, and more. As the dean of Whole Whale University, Whole Whale’s suite of on-demand digital training courses, she has reached over 5,000 students and produced 4 of Whole Whale’s 5 current courses. She has co-produced 3 collaborative courses with TechSoup, and has continued that partnership — as well as partnerships with GivingTuesday, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Idealist, and Beth Kanter — to bring digital marketing case studies to life at our WWU:Live events. As part of WWU:Live, Meredith has organized over 50 in-person and virtual training events, attended by over 7,000 nonprofit professionals.
