Digital Product Manager
Sierra ClubLaura is a digital product manager at the Sierra Club, where she helps implement tools for grassroots activists to engage their communities on a breadth of environmental issues. At the Sierra Club, she works with digital content producers, developers, and organizers to improve the accessibility of those tools so everyone can participate in the movement.
With a Master’s in Communication, Culture, and Technology and a Bachelor’s in Political Science, Laura has been working in the political power of digital space and on the importance of diverse voices in that arena for most of her career. She previously worked at AnitaB.org (formerly Anita Borg Institute), which hosts the Grace Hopper Celebration and the Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement. She consults for ChIPs Network, Leadhership1, and SocioFabrica. Laura is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies, a certificate available from the International Association of Accessible Professionals.
