Laura is a digital product manager at the Sierra Club, where she helps implement tools to improve the grassroots organization’s ability to provide resources for activists. At the Sierra Club, she works with digital content producers, developers, and organizers to improve the accessibility of those resources so everyone can participate in the movement.

With a Master’s in Communication, Culture, and Technology and a Bachelor’s in Political Science, Laura has been working in the political power of digital space and on the importance of diverse voices in that arena for most of her career. She previously worked at (formerly Anita Borg Institute), which hosts the Grace Hopper Celebration, and the Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement. She consults for various nonprofits on accessibility and strategic web content. Laura is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies, a certificate available from the International Association of Accessible Professionals.
