St. Vincent de Paul of BaltimoreJoey Brown is a data enthusiast, a policy nerd and an inpatient social change agent. He has been driving improvement and impact in the nonprofit and public sectors for over 13 years. His diverse work background includes working with a tribal government health department, serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer with the Samoa Red Cross, working as an StateStat Analyst in the Office of Governor Martin O'Malley, and working with human services nonprofits in Baltimore City driving performance management, continuous improvement and organizational capacity building initiatives.
Joey has a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Sydney and a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He was awarded a Shriver Peaceworker Fellowship in 2011 and selected for the Sondheim Nonprofit Leaders Program in 2012.
