Pronouns: He/She/TheyHailing from Oakland California, Griffen Castillo is working to radically transform the Oakland Unified School District. They are currently a fellow at the Office of Equity for the Asian Pacific Islander Student Achievement program and a Coach with the Tobacco Use Prevention and Education (TUPE) program.
They seek to inspire our young people to become champions for the community and advocate for equitable, culturally responsive learning environments by using restorative justice circles to inspire leadership in our youth and catalyze radical change internally, interpersonally, and systemically.
