Carrie is a consultant with Ideal State, a firm working with organizations engaged in social good to create digital workplaces that combine people, processes and technology to redefine how people work and learn together. Before joining Ideal State, Carrie served as director of knowledge management at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS) based in Baltimore. During her time at LIRS, Carrie built a robust internal KM practice spanning content management and collaboration and also led the launch of a highly successful partner extranet. Prior to that she spent 11 years as a communications and business planning lead at Everyday Democracy. She is passionate about social causes and brings a depth of KM expertise along with strong project management skills to every project.
