Bonnie Hough, CFRE is a former nonprofit-pro turned entrepreneur on a mission to help nonprofit teams grow with intention. For nearly a decade, Bonnie worked in the nonprofit sector in what she lovingly refers to as a “nonprofit do-it-all-er” role - from positions in fundraising, communications, and, more than anything, to engaging an audience - you name it, she’s probably done it! In most roles she held, she bridged the gap between fundraising, communications, and strategy, often as the only full-time employee supporting these functions. Her experiences in these roles called her to launch Banyan Nonprofit Strategy in 2020.
With Banyan, her mission now is to help passionate, purpose-driven teams grow with intention. Bonnie works with small nonprofit teams through a blend of development, communications and strategic planning coaching to help them go from crisis-driven to mission-driven in their work. Together, Bonnie partners with her clients to tell their story, grow their audience, and reach their financial goals.
When she’s not working, you can find Bonnie spending time with her husband and her two very lazy rescue mutts, testing out new recipes in the kitchen, or curled up with a good book. Bonnie lives in St. Pete, FL.
