22NTC Session: Digital Inclusion
Virtual Access: Don’t Forget Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind!
Submitted by: Darian Gambrell | DEAF, INC.

Description

Because of Covid, we had to rely on virtual means to continue our work and conversations. Many of us who are deaf, hard of hearing or deafblind rely on sign language interpreters, tactile interpreters, or captioning. When participating in virtual meetings, it can become frustrating with access isn’t provided. What is the role of the host to make this webinar a meaningful experience for all?
