This session will focus on introducing key concepts for new and existing nonprofit leaders. As a former auditor and former nonprofit CFO, Tosha Anderson, CPA (Founder and CEO of The Charity CFO) will share the common pitfalls we see in nonprofit accounting – and how to avoid them. We will also share the key metrics we look for when reviewing the financial position of an organization. Finally, we will share specific information you should be requesting from your accountant on a monthly basis to ensure you are informed and prepared for audits, board inquiries, or donor presentations.
