Description
In 2021, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) rolled out a brand new, custom designed, required Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion course for our year-round volunteers. This course came out of a larger revision to the year-round volunteer program that was borne in part from growing concerns that the former program was not meeting org standards for equity and inclusion. Learn why ISTE identified year-round volunteers as EDI champions, how we went about designing and implementing EDI education for our volunteers, what the results have been so far, and how you might implement similar support for your own volunteers.
