22NTC Session: IT
Secure Your Cloud Infrastructure Tenant Using Native Tools
Submitted by: Tom Anderson | IT4 Causes

Description

Protecting the data you’ve stored in the cloud is critical to the privacy of your staff and clients as well as to the long-term success of your mission.  Both Microsoft and Google provide handy checklists and tools to show where your biggest exposures are, with detailed steps on how to remediate them.  Following their process can help you quickly get a handle on the security of your M365 or Google Workspace tenant so that you can protect the value of your good work from the black hats.  In this session, we’ll review the vendor-provided tools and walk through remediating a few common risks so that you’ll walk away feeling more confident in talking to your leadership about the security of your cloud infrastructure and ways to improve it, without investing in any additional third-party tools.
