Racial Affinity Session: Vision for the Future
Attendees of Color Only – This is not an educational session like other NTC sessions. There is no presentation or learning outcomes. This session will have a facilitator team in the room to support the group. The facilitator team is available to support any group activities or conversations as appropriate based around (but not limited to) visions for the future, as well as feedback from those who join the session. These sessions will be a zoom link provided in the agenda with an access passcode posted in the Private BIPOC Nonprofit Professionals . Regional Impact Program Manager
Sebrina Owens-Wilson is Oregon Metro’s Regional Impact Program Manager in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion department. She is a co-chair for Construction Career Pathway’s Regional Collaborative Committee Additionally, Sebrina leads efforts around investing in communities of color through workforce investment, regional measures and bonds, and capacity building for community based organizations. She also oversees Metro’s Committee on Racial Equity that provides strategic guidance for Metro’s goals. Previously, Sebrina was the Campaign Director at the Partnership for Working Families where she led campaigns and research around workforce equity in many industries across the country including: construction, trucking, and solid waste. She holds a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Oregon.
