22NTC Session: Fundraising
Make it Monthly: Growing and maintaining your monthly donor pool

Description

Monthly giving is more important to non-profits than ever before. KQED has been able to double their sustainer program in the last few years, now exceeding 130,000 monthly members! Join us to learn how to grow your sustainer program with these strategies for recruitment, retention, stewardship, and upgrades.

In this engaging and up-to-date session, participants will learn about multichannel promotion of monthly giving recruitment–with efforts spanning email, online advertising, social media, direct mail, on-air, and mobile channels. We’ll discuss KQED’s stunning growth with great case studies.

We’ll discuss how to improve sustainer tenure via stoploss, upgrades, additional gifts, and stewardship. This session will be chock-full of examples from nonprofits across sectors and across fundraising and sustainer program size. We’ll present tons of examples from KQED as well as other nonprofits. Everyone will come away with ideas to implement immediately, as well as food for thought for their long-term program growth.
