22NTC Session: Marketing/Communications
Interactive Data Visualization and Storytelling on the Web
Submitted by: Donna Thach

Description

There are many tools to create interactive data visualizations and storytelling experiences on the web. These tools are becoming more powerful and affordable each year. But just because we can make a chart interactive doesn’t mean it’s always the best approach. In this session, we will discuss the pros and cons of interactive data visualizations. Participants will learn how to design interactive data visualizations that are clear, accessible, and informative. We will also introduce a variety of free and easy-to-use tools (no coding involved) to get started with creating interactive data visualizations and storytelling experiences for your nonprofit.
