Our mental health is suffering, and it impacts our work days. Non-profit professionals face specific pressures that impact mental health, and those of us working on digital campaigns even more so. Data shows day to day social media engagement can drive burnout and take a huge toll on wellbeing. For most of us, working remotely means working harder than ever. The sheer onslaught of traumatic global events creates ambient anxiety that’s tough to shake even on the best day.
The good news: building a more mentally healthy team is doable. I’ll define mentally healthy workstyles and best practices and lay out basic guidelines to analyze your organization. We will learn how to begin modeling mentally healthy behavior and create best practices. It doesn’t require you becoming a therapist or crossing others’ boundaries.
