22NTC Session: Fundraising
I Was Wrong – Owning Tech Mistakes and Building Trust
Submitted by: Samantha Shain | William Penn Foundation

Description

I’m tired of leaving conferences feeling shame and insecurity for falling short of delivering the glamorous dashboards and best practices that are the bread and butter of conference presentations.  You are, too?  Great!  In this presentation, I’ll come clean about 5 categories of technology mistakes that I encounter in my work – and yes, that I’ve made.  Together, we will brainstorm how to mitigate and avoid these mistakes, and how to move forward with radical honesty and trust in the center of nonprofit technology.
