How to Maximize Digital Storytelling With Minimal Resources


The power of storytelling to inspire action and change is well established, and in the age of digital, the form of stories has shifted.  With the abundance of technology and ease of access to technological tools, digital storytelling has become cemented as an incredibly powerful tool. However, running large-scale digital storytelling campaigns that are sophisticated and have a high degree of impact can be cost prohibitive for many nonprofits. In turn, digital storytelling has become another marketing tool that has the potential to perpetuate inequities. To combat the inequitable access to digital storytelling; this session will outline how to implement innovative approaches that harness less for more and key things to be mindful of when working with marketing/communications contractors on digital marketing campaigns to ensure you are maximizing your resources.
