22NTC Session: IT
How to Audit and Boost Your Web Performance
Submitted by: Liz Murphy | Allegiance Group

Description

Google’s research tells us we have less than 4 seconds to load your web content before you start experiencing significant bounce rates. Making sure your site performs at a high level is crucial to delivering a good user experience — and bolstering conversion rates.

Metrics such as the Core Web Vitals can help you measure how your site is doing. They can tell not only how fast your content is loading, but also how users are perceiving content loading on their screens. We’ll look at a variety of free and paid tools to test and measure these metrics, as well as suggest ways to improve your site’s performance.

We’ll walk through a few ways to test your website. And, we’ll review what metrics you should be paying attention to and what they mean. Finally, we’ll review test results and spotlight actionable ways to improve site performance.
