Helping IT & Marketing Work Together

Description

In the age of user experience, marketing is often as much about the right technology as it is the right words. But differences in communication styles and motivations often leave IT and Marketing departments at odds with each other. Having spent years working in marketing for startups, I have a unique vantage point on the reasons behind this divide and how it can be solved to create a more unified, productive, cost-effective environment for everyone.  


Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the importance of IT & Marketing forming a partnership.
  • Understand why the relationship between the two departments is sometimes rocky.
  • Learn how to make the relationship smoother.
