As we emerge from an extended period of social distancing, it’s important to reexamine how giving experiences have evolved over the last 18 months. From a recent survey of 1,000+ donors, we learned social giving experiences and virtual formats are improving access to philanthropy, with younger, more diverse donors giving at higher rates.
To continue reaching a broader, more inclusive group of donors post pandemic, future fundraising strategy should leverage virtual and in-person giving best practices to reach, motivate, and activate today’s social givers.
