Data Equity Is Human Equity

Are you confident that the way your organization collects data is free of bias? Are you able to paint a transparent picture about the people you serve? Do you want to make sure your program participants feel seen and heard from the very first interaction?

This session will discuss the importance of ensuring your participants feel safe to share information, collecting data that is equitable and working with partners to get a holistic picture of individual’s needs. Through stories from nonprofit and public sector organizations that have learned how to make sure the information they are collecting from participants is equitable and transparent, we will outline five best practice approaches to obtaining data and using that data to elevate community collaboration.
