Description
In this session, we will discuss how critical the relationship between the communications and programming departments is to the overall goals of a nonprofit. We will go over basic skills for internal communications that can help these teams set up best practices for collaboration. We will also break down the different goals and perspectives of each team and where there may be commonalities as well as conflicting agendas. There will also be discussion surrounding various project management tools that can help facilitate organized communication. The objective is for attendees to feel empowered to have proactive internal communication between each team, helping the organization achieve larger strategic goals.
