In the nonprofit sector, we tend to “wear many hats.” But when our tower of hats becomes unmanageable, it’s time to step back and evaluate our resources. Learn how to create winning expansion proposals that identify key deficiencies, outline opportunities, establish analysis structures, and create a roadmap for future growth. We’ll identify key internal data to help guide our long-term goals, evaluate external benchmarks to establish our own strategies, learn how to justify additional resources, and examine a real-world 3-year strategic plan. Finally, we’ll test our knowledge by participating in an activity to create a basic “if this, then that” resource plan.
