An Intranet That Rocks! Introducing The Hub!
The Kresge Foundation has undergone a major overhaul of its intranet. The new intranet called “The Hub”, which resides on a SharePoint platform called Valo, launched in September of 2019. It has become a critical means of communication among staff especially during the pandemic and the social uprising. It is also a wealth of information for new staff and serves as an integration point for other systems, electronic forms and dashboards. This presentation will show how The Hub integrates with PowerBi, DocuSign, the Kresge Internet, Active Directory, Okta and several other systems used by the foundation.

Managing Director of IT
The Kresge Foundation
Wendye Mingo joined The Kresge Foundation in April of 2017 as the Managing Director of IT. Under her leadership, the foundation has completed a digital transformation of its technology stack with a cloud first approach. This includes moving all systems and services to the cloud, upgrading the network, migrating the phone system to a VOIP platform and modernizing the foundation’s intranet. She has also partnered with staff to implement new systems to support their business areas. Prior to her employment at Kresge, Wendye spent 17 years with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services in both application and infrastructure management. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Computer Science and a PhD in Instructional Technology.
